50 Cent Confirms Mayweather Beef!?! + Info on New Promotional Deal with Manny Pacquiao..

So, I’m sure you all are aware of the rumored beef between BFF’s 50 cent and Floyd Mayweather. Not sure if Floyd had some type of epiphany while incarcerated or what, but word is that since his release, he’s been acting a little shady towards 50.

At first, it was rumored that Floyd may not have liked the relationship 50 was having with his fiance’ Shantel Jackson, then you have the new promotional deal that 50 Cent did with Floyd Mayweather’s opponent Manny Pacquiao. Either way, the two once inseparable pals are now a little more distance then before.  Find out what 50cent had to say about why after the jump…

So during an interview with  The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, 50 Cent not only address his beef with previous artist such as, Fat Joe, Young Buck and Rick Ross;–but he had this to say about Floyd,

[The issues between us] really comes from … everybody around him is waiting on the next time he feels generous. And I have a lot [of money], so I don’t wait for nobody. I’ll go do what I gotta do. I don’t have to sit around and wait for the next time he feels like giving somebody something. Me and Floyd is always gonna be cool. He is different. [There’s been] a different side of Floyd coming out of the pen. That’s all.”

So what do you guys/gals think?? Is it deeper than that? Do you think the recent deal he did with Pacquiao is to blame??

Well according to sources,

It has been confirmed that eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao, and rapper 50 Cent, are going to move forward with a joint promotional venture without Floyd Mayweather Jr. according to Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz !

Koncz tell BoxingScene that Pacquiao and 50 Cent are going to come together to form their own promotional company, and Mayweather was initially discussed as a partner – but he doesn’t appear to be involved.

“50 Cent and I have been talking now for maybe the last two months. They approached us with the idea to form a promotional company. Initially it was going to be 50 Cent, Manny and Floyd. But right now I don’t think Floyd is going to be a part of it. I explained the idea to Manny. We already have a promotional company, MP Promotions, and we have already done three separate promotions from Top Rank…on a small scaler. I have to take the blame for that. I’m in charge of it. There is an element missing there, but I have so much to do with Manny – that I haven’t got that company to where I want it,” Koncz told BoxingScene.com.

“I think with 50 Cent, with his entertainment connections and his popularity there, combining that with Manny’s popularity and expertise in boxing – we can bring a new flavor to boxing – we can excite some young boxers and I think we can sign some top quality boxers. I spoke to 50 Cent tonight and confirmed that we’re going to go forward. Manny is coming here this weekend for other business, but we’re all excited about it. With 50′s influence in the music industry – we want to put a different flavor on the shows.”
