Katy Perry will be taking home the Woman of the Year Award at the 2012 Billboard Women in Music event on Friday, Nov. 30, in New York City!! You go Girl!! Katy has been breaking chart records, releasing films and touring all over the world lately.
After hitting the industry with her fierce single “I Kissed a Girl” and hit album “One of the Boys,” Perry set fire to the charts with 2010′s “Teenage Dream.” The record-setting album had five Hot 100 No. 1′s, –which is a first for any female artist!! So, when Billboard announced Katy as the Women of the Year recipient, I wasn’t surprised!
