Mike Epps has bagged the role of playing one of the most funniest comedians of all time;–Richard Pryor, in the upcoming film Nina, a Nina Simone biopic starring my girl Zoe Saldana! I’m pretty sure Mike Epps lucked up on this part, because everybody and their daddy was auditioning for it. But it fits Mike perfectly,– and according to The Hollywood Reporter, he’s the one that walked away with the role.
“In a supporting role, Epps will play Pryor, who opened for the singer when they two were starting out in the early 1960s. Pryor had terrible stage fright and Simone, in her autobiography, recalled how she regularly rocked him into calmness.”
The movie will began shooting this week in Los Angeles! Boy I tell you…Mike Epps is on a roll…first Sparkle now Nina! They need to make a movie about Richard Pryor though too because dude was hilariousss!! May he Rest in Peace.
