Actress Stacey Dash found herself defending her support for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney,– after she received negative backlash from her Twitter followers for her decision to vote Republican this term.
Tuesday night Stacey did an interview with Piers Morgan of CNN, during that interview she stated;
‘I want the next four years to be different, when I watched the governor and his wife on Meet the Press with David Gregory, they spoke to me and they seemed authentic and genuine about what they said about this country, and about the need for us to be united and move forward.’
‘He said thank you so much for your support, and that I was brave and that they support me and I thought that was so generous and kind,; Ms Dash told Piers Morgan’
Stcey went on to say that she endorsed Romney ”not by the color of his skin but the content of his character”..
Whatever her reasons may be for supporting the republican party, –it didn’t sit well with her followers who immediately began to bash and judge her for her decision.
But not all her fans had a problem with it, many of her followers were also fans of the Romney/Ryan campaign, and joined in, re-tweeting her endorsement nearly 5,000 times with the hashtag #ISupportStaceyDash !!
Hey! She’s not the first to vote republican,..and she damn sure wont be the last, that’s even more reason why those that are in support of the democratic party get out there and VOTE,–and bring your family and friends along!!
