Three month old Rayden Eugene Bruce was found mauled to death by the family pitbull by his grandfather, –while police was on the scene addressing a domestic disturbance call between his parents.
Officers were reportedly called to the scene to diffuse an argument among the parents of Rayden Bruce, –his 19yr old mother Jessica Oxner, and her 20yr old boyfriend (father) Barrett Bruce. While one officer spoke to Jessica outside, the other officer brought Barrett inside to take statements from both parties involved.
Baby Rayden was in the arms of his mother when the grandfather came and took him inside to lay him down, moments later the grandfather ran back into the room after hearing noise and discovered his grandson nearly in pieces. The child’s father grabbed his son and ran screaming from the home.
As officers were leaving the scene, they heard the screaming from inside and Mr. Bruce came running out, holding his son’s body.
Baby Rayden was taken to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas but later died.
The four-year-old pitbull– called Brody, was killed at the owner’s request.
smdh…I would absolutely NEVER own one of these pets, they are the worse…point blank period! I constantly see these dogs maul adults and children for no apparent reason, and it’s sad! For those of you that own one..Good Luck!
